Things you should know about working as a Parts Coordinator II – Manufacturing:


Maintain adequate inventory for the replenishment of parts used.  Responsible for inventory and procurement, ordering, and distribution of parts and supplies needed by equipment services personnel.


What would success look like?


Responsible for:


        • Inventory

        • Procurement

        • Ordering

        • Distribution of parts

        • Supplies needed by equipment services


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • Must be proficient in parts and material management (SAP inventory preferred)
  • Experienced in Critical Spares Analysis
  • Minimum 3 years of experience required in the parts room MRP(Materials Requirement Planning)
  • Daily monitoring and total ownership of Parts Storage Areas.
  • Experienced in parts expedition process.
  • Intermediate Mechanical Knowledge required
  • Verify that Part Ordered are received.
  • Maintain Inventory Accuracy at all times.
  • Ensure all parts in the parts room have SAP parts number with locations.
  • Duties and responsibilities are to maintain a stock of spare parts
  • Quote prices to customers,
  • Manage backorders,
  • Maintain vendor relations, including ensuring invoices, shipment slips, and other billing issues are taken care of promptly.
  • You make routine inspections of inventory and ensure that your department is able to fulfill customers’ delivery requests.
  • When inventory is running low, you order the shipment of parts to make sure they are on hand.
  • Must possess strong Mechanical aptitude
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively
  • Able to bend, stoop and twist repetitively

Minimum Qualifications


        • 2 years inventory control management experience.

        • Adequate knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.

        • Shipping and receiving experience is desired


Preferred Qualifications


        • High school diploma or equivalency is preferred

        • Technical experience of manufacturing equipment repairs, or parts is preferred
