The Quality Manager is responsible for the Quality Assurance Department and provides guidance for the manufacturing plant to ensure that products are manufactured in accordance with any Federal and system requirements. This position also serves as the Food Safety & HACCP Coordinator and supports all processes to ensure that the product is manufactured within guidelines required by ISO standards.


What would success look like?


• Support and ensure that the manufacturing facility is production in accordance with all FDA and corporate requirements.
• The Quality Manager is expected to support and assist in handling audits from internal and external sources (FDA, ISO, CCNA, Dr. Pepper, DOA).
• Ensure QA personnel understands the job expectations and the measurement systems for their performance.
• The Quality Manager is expected to encourage a team environment and ensure that all Quality employees are trained and conducting cross-training within the department.
• Develop the Quality Assurance supervisors through coaching and counseling to improve performance.
• Completion of thirty-day measurement reviews with supervisors, to identify opportunities and encourage correct behaviors.
• Ensure that the Quality Assurance department actively pursues a safe work area to ensure that the department operates safely, preventing injuries and lost time.
• Develop and execute project plan to successfully achieve and maintain ISO/FSSC 22000 certification.
• Ensure the understanding and compliance of the manufacturing department employees to ISO standards.
• Ensure department stays aligned with company goals which allows the company's mission the QA department.
• Support Coca-Cola Consolidated department managers and work as a team to support company goals and the QA department mission.



• Familiarity with lab equipment and testing within the manufacturing environment.
• Experience in sanitation, blending and knowledge of simple chemistry.
• Advanced math and problem-solving knowledge.
• Computer skills.
• Ability to manage and lead.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Root Cause Analysis.



• Certification and experience in coaching and counseling and management seminars preferred.
• Four-year degree in a related field preferred.


 Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk for approximately five to six hours per day and can climb ladders.
• Must be able to lift 40 to 60-pound boxes and jugs.
