This position is based out of Pikeville, KY.  The route will cover, but is not limited to: Duffield, Big Stone Gap, Wise, Coeburn, St. Paul, Clintwood, & Grundy in VA.  Jenkins, Whitesburg, Hindman, Elkhorn City, Shelby Valley, & Robinson Creek.



The Account Developer - Trainee is given the opportunity to become part of the Home Market Sales Organization in an entry level role.  This position is designed to gain training and experience to enable progression into an Account Developer or Account Developer Relief Position.  The Account Developer - Trainee serves as a support to the large and/or small sales team. The position is responsible for placing regular orders for customer's product needs, driving sales through selling in incremental facing, displays and rack placements, efficiently and effectively managing the product portfolio and providing excellent customer service.



What would success look like?


        • Educate and excite customers about our leading portfolio of beverages

        • Consultative selling - analyze and understand our customer needs and trends to help them grow their profitability and our own resulting success by using our proprietary data to match and leverage brands with the specific account consumer demographics

        • Sell incremental displays, equipment placements and promotional programs

        • Maintain appropriate inventory levels, company assets and promotional ad signage (point of sale) and displays

        • Ensure each account meets Company merchandising standards, determine stores’ product needs and transmit appropriate replenishment orders

        • Communicate and collaborate account activities to appropriate business partners

        • Utilize sales force automation tools

        • Transport, replace and maintain point of sale advertising as appropriate for each account



Minimum Qualifications


        • Passionate, values-oriented, resourceful and motivated to learn

        • Excellent communication and interpersonal problem-solving skills

        • Strong attention to detail with excellent planning and organization skills

        • Ability to serve multiple customer accounts concurrently with excellence

        • Analytical and naturally curious to question the status quo

        • Proficient computer application skills

        • Valid driver’s license for your state of residency and an excellent driving history for the last seven years




Preferred Qualifications


        • BS/BA Degree (or equivalent) is preferred
