Sr. Manager, Initiatives & Performance

Responsible for identifying and capturing high revenue impact opportunities across the organization through the use of all RGM tactics & internal strategic initiative management. Also responsible for on-going Revenue & Profitability performance reporting with deep-dive analytics to identify root-causes and resolve gaps.
 

Things you should know about working as a Sr. Manager, Initiatives & Performance:
 
• Identify and capture strategic revenue initiatives across a broad spectrum of topics and opportunities (Discriminatory taxes, Fees & Credits, Mix Management, CMA/Trade Investment optimization, etc.).
• Leads the development of corporate performance reporting on a weekly, monthly and annual basis. Evolving into deeper level causal reporting.
• Works closely with channel planning groups to identify root cause drivers of variances vs budget and forecasts vs actuals.
• Design reporting and process solutions around strategic priority RGM pillars leveraging all available data sources including Nielsen and internal tools.
• Works closely with Trade Promotion Group on trade spend management, investment optimization, forecasting and financial accruals. Assist in project management to apply advanced analytic study learnings to improve ROI behind promotions and investments.
• Assist in creating Rate/Mix reporting solution and educating organization on outputs, drivers and action plans.
• Deep dive analytics to diagnose root cause drivers of performance gaps and identify gap closing opportunities.
 

What would success look like?
 
• Develops productive working relationships with many cross-functional teams and/or Coke Bottlers 
• Responsible for leading and managing change in shifting environments, where driving Coke System alignment is critical for success. 
• Advanced knowledge of general business practices with a strong general management, financial and strategic acumen 
• Advanced business understanding of RGM tools, resources and best in class capability 
• Management of highly strategic and analytical projects that resulted in the effective conversion of insights into actionable solutions 
• Consolidated understanding of pricing disciplines, demand curve analysis, price gap analytics, margin and mix management 
• Ability to synthesize and analyze multiple data points to create comprehensive Price Package strategies 
• Solid understanding of research and modeling, and ability to leverage outside tools and resources 
• Strong working knowledge of syndicated data and how to use this data to build category selling presentations, category reviews and ad hoc category management support 
• Strength in communicating verbally and delivering articulate presentations

• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and stakeholders
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
• Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience with demonstrated progression in responsibilities preferably with a consumer package goods company 
• Business Planning and Customer Planning experience required 
• Financial Planning and Budgeting experience required 
• Category Management experience preferred 
• Advanced working knowledge of Nielsen, IRI, dunnhumby 
• Customer Management or Sales experience required 
• MBA preferred
