Things you should know about working as a Sr. Analyst Financial Planning & Analysis:

As a member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team, this role is responsible for assisting in the completion of operating and capital budgeting and forecasting for the supported business units. In addition, this role will help evaluate business performance, project ROI, and assist in decision making through improved financial analysis.


What would success look like?
• Serve as a business partner to various functions in the business 
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting, in conjunction with their manager and business partners, including both operational and capital items 
• Work closely with business partners to report, manage and control operating results, identifying areas of both growth potential and cost efficiency 
• Prepare monthly variance analysis and scorecards to help functional leaders evaluate business performance 
• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures 
• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance 
• Assist in performing ROI analysis on project-based capital spending and help the business leaders improve business performance 
• Assist in the development of rolling forecasts and long-range planning to assist executive management in business strategy decisions 
• Delivery ad-hoc reporting and analysis to business as requested 
• Other duties as assigned


• 4-6 years of finance or accounting experience required, preferably in an FP&A function
Preferred Qualifications
• MBA and/or CPA preferred and other similar certifications (such as CGMA, Certified Global Management Accountant)
