Red Classic - ISS Sr Support Specialist

The Red Classic ISS Support Specialist will have a wide range of technical knowledge and business skills. The primary role will be to provide Level 2 system support for multiple systems that could span across several business functions. The systems to support will include home grown, COTS or SaaS solutions. Secondary role will be to work on projects with a responsibility to analyze and document business requirements, assist in documenting Functional Specifications, interpret business need to technical team, assist in Systems and Business Acceptance Testing, participate in System Implementation. Must have conceptual knowledge or experience in the full software development life cycle and a deep understanding of software technologies and how they are used in application development.  This position is also expected to work closely with business users, project teams, vendors and third-party technical contacts in regards to assisting in resolving system and business process issues or business requirements for system changes.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Incident Management: Monitoring, triaging and owing resolution of issues. Follow ITIL process.
  • Communication Management: Communicate effectively with business and technology stake-holders.
  • Documentation: Accountable for delivering: 1. Clear resolution notes on incidents/problem tickets; 2. BRD’s, FSD’s and Data Mapping documents on projects.
  • Data Analytics: Understand the data behind the applications and can analyze/profile the data to provide solutions supported by data.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Be the liaison between solution providers and Consolidated related to system issues/changes.
  • Customer Service Attitude: Have sense of ownership of an issue/problem/request from customer. Understand and track ITIL metrics.
  • Executes test scenarios and test scripts, makes necessary changes in the projects to meet requirements
  • Work with a seasoned Business Analyst to learn and grow

 

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Hands-on experience on an ERP system(s)
  • Working knowledge on SAP is a plus
  • Ability to perform data analysis (using excel or other data analytical tools) is a must
  • Knowledge in writing SQL queries to perform data analysis is a plus
  • Analytical and trouble shooting skills to resolve data integration issues between systems
  • College degree from an accredited school preferred or equivalent work experience
