Things you should know about working as a Director of Learning & Development:

The Director of Learning & Development is an integral role on the Organizational Capability team responsible for the Coke Consolidated Talent Strategy to Attract, Engage, and Grow a highly talented, diverse workforce of servant leaders. As the Director, you will lead a team of professionals to deliver solutions aimed at improving skills and readiness across the organization and will play a significant role in building capability and optimizing the talent management lifecycle. This role is responsible for the delivery and execution of all learning and development activities and will oversee key talent initiatives aimed at maximizing employee alignment, engagement, potential and performance. You will use your leadership skills to partner with key stakeholders to identify, develop, promote and implement training strategies that align with the business needs and objectives. This position will be responsible for learning programs involving employee on boarding, developing professional capability and delivering leadership experiences through thought-leadership and advisory support across each functional area of business. This position has direct accountability to ensure that consistent training practices and controls are in place to monitor for compliance and effectiveness of training initiatives.


What would success look like?
• Develop a successful team, that is positioned as credible, proactive, and trusted thought partners through building relationships and delivering results
• Team is responsible for facilitating and delivering Learning and Development programs in areas such as: Employee Onboarding, Professional & Leadership development and any additional learning programs that are identified through needs assessments. 
• Demonstrate strong leadership to effectively manage employees across multi-generational and tenured ranges, motivating and rewarding top performance.
• Partner with key stakeholders within each area of business along with department heads to identify needs and develop and/or source curriculum/courses to address the needs.
Learning & Development:
• Develop an annual training calendar, marketing, communications and periodic reports (i.e. monthly, quarterly, etc.) of training activity.
• Develop and manage comprehensive onboarding and new-hire experience programs.
• Lead and execute training programs using a blended learning approach. 70/20/10 model for Learning and Development
• Deliver impactful sales & capability training that remains current with company initiatives and improves the competency level of the organization.
• Continuously seek and support new approaches, practices and processes to improve the efficiency of Learning and Development services offered
• Evaluate training initiatives for effectiveness including measuring the impact and return on investment of key Learning and Development programs.
• Seek and build partnership opportunities to implement, and continuously improve, learning and development tools and processes through various lines of businesses.
• Supports development and implementation of HR plans, programs, and tools to build and enhance organizational capabilities and skills in collaboration with functional counterparts (Talent, Engagement, TA, HRBPs. etc.) and applicable Centers of Excellence 
• Fiscal Management of department’s budget.
• Position requires frequent travel within CCCI franchised territory


• 5+ years’ experience leading the operational delivery of Learning & Development
• Proven ability to evaluate skill requirements, build, integrate, and lead innovative and sustainable learning strategies
• Proven interpersonal and developed presentation skills with a proven ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
• Understands the latest trends in learning and development

• Passion for building high-performing teams and working in an industry that requires a demanding schedule, the ability to adapt and prioritize key objectives.
• Demonstrates an effective consultative approach to build awareness or key organizational issues and consensus for relevant solutions; able to guide stakeholders through a shared and collaborative decision-making process 


Preferred Qualifications
• Valid driver's license
• Experience with Professional Facilitation Training
